Q. When is Check in and Check Out?

A. Check In is at 3:00 pm and Check Out is at 11:00 am.

Q. Is it possible to Check in early?

A: We CANNOT ACCOMMODATE EARLY CHECKINS DUE TO THE SMALL NATURE OF OUR STAFF. Please feel free to park in the parking spot designated for your room after 11:30PM and have a stroll around Idyllwild. The Fireside is a gentle 5 minute walk to most everything in town!

Q. Is my dog allowed? 

A. We love pets! There is a 35 dollar charge per pet.  

Q. Does every room have a fireplace?

A. Yes!  Isn’t that great!

Q. What about firewood?

A.  Please visit the Village Market or Mountain Mike prior to your stay. They sell wood for 10 a bundle.

Q.  Does the kitchen have a coffee maker?  Is there coffee?

A. Every room has A KEURIG.

Q. Can I bring my own charcoal grill?  

A. NO SORRY! ONLY PROPANE ARE ALLOWED ON THE HILL.

A: Please check the weather (link above) and if there is a chance of snow do bring chains as a precaution. We do not know what the CHP will ask for to get up this mountain!

Q. How does this darn TV work? 

A.  Please refer to the instruction sheet in the Guest Manual in the room. 

Q. Is there maid service during my stay?

A. No there is no maid service but it can be arranged if you like for an additional charge of $ 20-25 dollars.
